One of the world's most loved automobiles, the Volkswagen Beetle has captured admirers in every niche of the collector car hobby. The stunning example here has built on that universal appeal by adding a few desirable surprises. Coming from Colorado, it was restored to high standards with close attention to detail. The outer body shows a solid car with good paint and the interior was extensively refurbished. Moreoever it has a new canvas top with matching canvas boot. The huge stack of receipts which accompany this car demonstrate it to have had wiring, hoses, clips, panels, chrome and more replaced. The number of parts for the restoration is as remarkable as the documentation supporting it. The cliches "too much to list" and "no expense spared" truly deserve to be used after examining the receipts for this Beetle. Equally impressive are the service records and all of them serve to show what a pampered Volkswagen this convertible has been. Perhaps the greatest surprise comes when the rear engine hatch is opened and the highly modified four cylinder is first seen. This Beetle has been treated to an engine replacement from world renowned Volkswagen performance engine shop "Scat Enterprises". At a cost of well over 4000 USD, the 2027cc air cooled engine has been rebuilt with the highest quality parts and workmanship. Many upgrades greet the lucky bidder who wins ownership to this Beetle as it is to be offered at NO RESERVE!!!
