This two-owner, restored as original, low mileage, fully documented, numbers-matching, big-block Corvette is unique in that it received a total body-off restoration during which each and every part was restored, not replaced with aftermarket reproductions. Of course, the mechanicals were all rebuilt, including the engine, transmission, clutch, brakes, literally everything. And importantly, there are less than 400 miles on the restoration. Numbers matching on this car means more than the correct drive train; all the parts are correct, date coded and factory marked. This car is equipped with the most powerful engine option (other than the few L88s): a 427/435 tri-power, solid-lifter V8, with close-ratio 4 speed trans, 4.11 Positraction rear, power steering, power disc brakes, power windows, AM/FM radio, off road exhaust, heavy duty suspension, 2 tops, a white convertible top and the color-matched optional hardtop. The car was in such great condition prior to its restoration that the blue interior and the 25 year old acrylic lacquer Le Mans Blue paint were left untouched, attesting to the gentle life it has led. The car comes with extensive records, including the original window sticker, owner’s manual, receipts, and pictures of the extensive restoration
