1956 Ford Thunderbird

This amazing 2-seat Thunderbird was formerly part of a California collection and has travelled less than 12,500 miles since new. With the original paint shrinking into the factory lead body seams, the car was treated to a professional re-spray in 2009 with only the outside panels having been refinished. This is the first time that the car had any paint work since the original factory applied paint in ’56. The door jambs and the engine bay still retain their original factory paint. The original factory yellow inspection stamps have been preserved, and the original dealer sticker on the trunk panel has also been preserved. The interior is completely original with the exception of the seat upholstery, which was replaced at time of paint. Even the “FoMoCo” scripted headlamps are still in place.
